Barton Creek West WSC residents
The PUA Board of Directors has elected to remain in Stage 2 Restrictions throughout the remainder of the summer despite the increase in lake levels from the recent floods. The Barton Creek West WSC Drought Contingency Plan states that we must be at least as restrictive as the West Travis County PUA drought contingency plan. Rising lake levels are a positive development, but they do not signal the end of drought conditions or high summer demand. Our water usage increases by 70% during the summer months due to irrigation demand. Conservation is an important part of managing our local water supply. Thank you for your cooperation of continuing to water once per week throughout the remainder of the summer.
