Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On February 11, 2026 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Barton Creek West WSC public water system, TX 2270312, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 12, 2026.

On Wednesday February 11, 2026 utility crew will be shutting off water to your residence to effect repairs to the water main at 3108 Creeks Edge Parkway. This shut-out will start at 9:00 am. Residential addresses that will be affected are 2724 Creeks Edge Parkway to 3108 Creeks Edge Parkway. Once repairs are completed and water service is restored your water will be under a BOIL WATER NOTICE until testing is completed and water is safe to drink. Barton Creek West WSC will post on the website an update on when water is safe to use and hang a notice on your door. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office at 512-280-6622.
